Why do we choose bag filter for industrial dusty air treatment?

April 28, 2021

The requirements are getting higher and higher, so the filter material, the shape of the filter bag, the cleaning method, the structure of the box are also constantly updated. In the dust collector, the type of bag filter is the most, and can be classified according to the characteristics. .

First, according to the structure of the bag filter

The dust collector is mainly classified according to its structural characteristics, such as the shape of the filter bag, the direction of the filter, the position of the air inlet, and the method of cleaning.

Dust collector structure classification

1. Sort by filtering direction

According to the direction of filtration, it can be divided into two types: inner filter bag filter and outer filter bag filter.

1) The inner filter type bag filter is shown in (b)(d) as the inner filter type bag filter. The dusty air flow flows from the inside of the filter bag to the outside, and the dust is deposited on the inner surface of the filter bag. The advantage is that the filter bag is external. In order to clean the gas, it is easy to repair and change bags, and it can be repaired even without stopping the machine. Generally, the mechanical vibration, anti-air blowing and other cleaning methods are mostly in the internal filter form.

2) The outer filter type bag filter is shown in (a) and (c) as an external filter Bag Type Dust Collector. The dusty airflow flows from the outside of the filter bag to the inner side, and the dust is deposited on the outer surface of the filter bag. The support frame is provided, so the filter bag is ground larger. The cleaning methods such as pulse blowing and rotary back blowing mostly adopt the external filtering form, and most of the flat bag type dust collector adopts the external filtering form.

2. Sort by air inlet position

According to the position of the air inlet, it can be divided into two types: lower air bag type dust collector and upper air bag type dust collector.

1) The lower air bag type dust collector is shown in Fig. (a)(b) as the lower air bag type dust collector. The dusty gas enters from the lower part of the dust collector, the air flow is from bottom to top, and the large particles fall directly into the ash bucket, reducing The filter bag wears out and prolongs the interval of cleaning, but because the direction of the airflow is opposite to the direction of dust falling, it is easy to bring out some fine dust, which reduces the cleaning effect and increases the resistance. The structure of the lower inlet dust collector is simple and the cost is low. It is widely used.

2) The upper air bag type dust collector is shown in (c)(d) as the upper air bag type dust collector. The inlet of the dust-containing gas is placed in the upper part of the dust collector. The dust deposition is consistent with the air flow direction, which is beneficial to dust deposition and dust removal efficiency. Increased, equipment resistance can also be reduced by 15%-30%.
